Good morning! Here are some more photos from yeste Good morning! Here are some more photos from yesterday’s walk at the lake.

I usually try to stay away from the baby birds and just take a few shots with my telephoto zoom lens and move on. But for these photos, I was sitting on a bench when guess what? Two families of geese swam up and came ashore, right next to me!

I slowly lowered myself to the ground and took some shots. They eventually went back into the water, and I sat back on the bench, enjoying my tea. 🌞

📸 Enjoy, and have a great day! 😊👏

Here are some more photos from my walk at the lake Here are some more photos from my walk at the lake today. This is a Double-crested Cormorant. I was sipping my tea and this was one of the visitors I got to enjoy and capture some shots of.

From All About Birds dot Org.
" The gangly Double-crested Cormorant is a prehistoric-looking, matte-black fishing bird with yellow-orange facial skin. Though they look like a combination of a goose and a loon, they are relatives of frigatebirds and boobies and are a common sight around fresh and salt water across North America—perhaps attracting the most attention when they stand on docks, rocky islands, and channel markers, their wings spread out to dry. These solid, heavy-boned birds are experts at diving to catch small fish. " - All About Birds dot Org.
