We took a walk at Hidden Pond just before sunset. Then on the way home the light was really nice and lighting up the clouds as the sun was setting. I just had to pull over and get a few shots of Doherty's, aka The North Freeport Store (one of the best little neighborhood markets around). What an amazing sunset.

Good morning - Here's some shots from one year ago today. On this day I started out at Spring Point Ledge Light, then moved on to Portland Breakwater Light (aka Bug Light). My final stop of the morning was Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I love a good foggy boat scene!

A little health update...
A few weeks ago I mentioned that I had some new health struggles that I was dealing with and waiting to get figured out. So I thought I would share just a little update of what's going on. I deal with a lot of chronic illness on a daily basis and recently had a fungal infection (Coccidioidomycosis) reactivate in my lungs, one that had caused a lot of damage years ago, causing me to loose a good chunk of my left lung and part of my spine when it disseminated. It had been dormant (or so we thought) but it’s back now and I’ve started heavy dose of anti fungal suppression therapy that I’ll be on for the foreseeable future. My body is taking some time to get used to it so it’s just been a rough week for sure. On the bright side I think we caught it before it wrecked too much havoc again. As always I will keep my head up (as much as possible) and make the best of it! 😊👏

To the left is Bowman Island, the tide was on it's way back in, and the little sliver of a moon was visible in the middle with an illumination of around 4.5% 🌙 🌞
